Lost actor Matthew Fox has spoken out about the woman beater claims which have hung over his head for the past year. Matthew was accused of attacking a female bus driver, which he categorically denies, claiming that he never has and never will hit a woman.

Fox told Men’s Fitness, “It’s been a long, trying year of sitting on my hands on a lot of negative s**t said about me, when they’re the furthest things from who I am. In the 46 years I’ve been breathing on this planet, I have never hit a woman before. Never have, never will.”
Matthew was criticised by his former Lost co-star Dominic Monaghan for the incident when Dominic took to his officially Twitter account to call Matthew a woman beater. Heather Bormann accused Fox of hitting her in the breast, arm, leg and groin, while trying to get on the bus. However, Matthew countersued her before she withdrew her claims.

However, Fox is convinced that the situation will forever be held against him, “I think there’s still gonna be a lot of people out there who’ll think it’s true no matter what. The Cleveland situation, the [Dominic] Monaghan situation — was a pile of bulls**t, and I’m not gonna waste too much breath on that,” he added.
Matthew Fox is set to appear on the big screen alongside Brad Pitt in the movie World War Z, which is set to be released in the US and the UK on June 21, 2013.
