One Direction singer Zayn Malik has been dating Little Mix star Perrie Edwards but recent rumours have suggested that he has cheated on his girlfriend. Now, Max Clifford has been talking about how these rumours will affect One Direction, saying that their popularity will not be damaged by the claims.
While he was chatting to Heat about the situation, Clifford told them, “Everyone is told that a lot of girls will target you because they want to make money out of you. This is not going to affect Zayn's popularity or the group's popularity at all."
He added, “This is not a crisis in Simon's eyes. If Zayn was seen to be beating up girls, or if it was drugs, that would be very problematic. But if these allegations are true, it will cause no problem at all.”
While it is not yet fully known whether or not Zayn Malik did actually cheat on Perrie Edwards with Courtney Webb, there has been plenty of talk about. It is claimed that Perrie has been told by her friends to end her relationship with Zayn, although Perrie seems reluctant to do so and wants to give their relationship more time.
