Max Irons and Jake Abel have been busy promoting 'The Host', to say the least. After being on the road for more than a month, for various book and autograph signings across the country, the duo are now in Los Angeles. The film had its blue carpet premiere last week, as well as the several press screenings and press junkets.

In a new interview with Clevver TV, Abel and Irons discuss the possibility of a sequel to the film. Stephenie Meyer, the author of the book [as well as her other series 'Twilight], has mentioned that she is definitely working on the sequel, but so far hasn't had time to really go and finish it because she's been busy with promotion. However, Abel disagrees, and says he thinks that the sequel is already done.
When asked if there will be a Host sequel, Abel first says, "Well, it's sort of up to [the fans]. If people go to the theater and see it, I think that's sort of the dictating factor. No, if people want it, then we'll make it." When Irons then adds, "I think Stephenie is writing the second book', Abels adds, "I think it's done, too. She's very secretive. I think she's playing this whole charade of 'Oh, if only I had time to write'...I think it's done. I think it's being edited."

Now that there have been a few advanced screenings, the buzz on the film so far has been pretty good. The fans seem to enjoy the film, and it's been getting strong reviews from those who have seen it. 'The Host' comes out next week, and stars Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons, Jake Abel, William Hurt, Frances Fisher, and Diane Kruger.
