Max Irons and Jake Abel are about to become the next Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, especially as ‘The Host’ is starting to gain the kind of buzz that ‘Twilight’ generated in its early days. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the both the Twilight Saga and The Host were written by the same author [Stephenie Meyer], and that both Abel and Irons are dreamboats that exude humor and confidence wherever they go.

As part of their promotional duties for ‘The Host’, both Abel and Irons are featured in the new issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine [via the Host Movie News], and discuss everything from their style, what they learned from ‘The Host’, and what they look for in women.
When discussing his regular style, Jake mentions that it’s not as stylish as when he’s on a fancy shoot, but that, “I like suits. My girlfriend is in fashion. She’ll say, 'I appreciate your trying….,' and then we’ll revise it.” However, Max cheekily adds, “I’m British, so I know everything about mod fashion.” When discussing what they find to be the most attractive outfit on a woman, Jake says, “A little black dress. It’s classic, sexy. I find imagination sexier than what’s in front of you.” Max laughs and says, “I’d try a scented candle; it makes it feel like home.”

When discussing which of the two had more fun shooting ‘The Host’, Jake jokes and says that while he was stuck in the cave shooting love scenes with Saoirse Ronan, Max got to drive around and dodge helicopters. He adds, “You be the judge of who had more fun.” The duo adds that ‘The Host’ is not to be missed, and that vampires won’t hold a candle to aliens once you’ve seen the movie. The film releases on March 29th, so expect to see much more of Irons, Abel, and the film’s leading lady, Saoirse Ronan, busy on promotional rounds as we draw closer to March.
