American funny woman Maya Rudolph has appeared in many top television shows and movies over the years, including the occasional animated film down the line. Clearly Maya has enjoyed voicing characters in movies, as she continues to return to that form of acting time and again.
Maya Rudolph voiced the character Rapunzel in the movie Shrek the Third, as well as Mollie the Giraffe in Zookeeper. Most recently though, Maya Rudolph has lent her voice to the character Burn, in the animated film Turbo, which was released in the US earlier this year and the UK earlier this month.
And it seems that Maya Rudolph is not done there either, as she will next appear in the animated movie The Nut Job, where she will voice the character Precious. The film centres on a Squirrel, who is banished from his park and forced to go live in the city.
As well as featuring the voice of Maya Rudolph, Precious will also star Will Arnett, Brendan Fraser, Katherine Heigl and Liam Neeson, among other top Hollywood names. Precious will hit the big screen on January 17, 2014 in the US, while an official UK release dat has yet to be confirmed.
