It looks like Megan Fox has swallowed her pride and apologized to Transformers director Michael Bay for calling him Hitler. Fox and Bay had a huge, public spat after the second Transformers film came out, with her comparing him to Hitler and he more or less calling her a spoiled brat. This also led to Megan being replaced in the third film by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
While it’s been a number of years since the incident first took place, it was announced last week that Fox and Bay would be reuniting on the planned Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, which Bay is currently producing.
Radar Online’s source tells them, “It was Megan that made the first move to talk with Michael. Since Transformers, she hasn’t been getting the leading lady roles she had hoped for and Megan was starting to get concerned that it was because of what she said about Michael. So, she swallowed her pride, picked up the phone and spoke with him to clear the air and apologize. She told him how thankful she was to have been casted by him in the first place, and that she was totally out of line to say what she said.”
While Fox’s career hasn’t exactly been in the dumps lately [she had a small spot on ‘This is 40’], she is not considered as red-hot as she once was during her Transformers days. This is likely a plea to get back in Bay’s good graces so that she can go back to the action and franchise films that made her a star in the first place.
