Since it was announced that a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie was being made, there have been many excited fans for the project, while there have also been those that have been left disappointed by some of the finer points. One problem that fans had about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie was the fact that Michael Bay was on board as producer, but this was not the biggest concern for some.
Many Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans were disappointed to learn that actress Megan Fox had been cast in the role of April O'Neil for the movie. A lot of the complaints that fans had about this casting was the fact that last time Megan Fox and Michael Bay worked together, Michael had Megan running around in tight tops or wearing very little clothes at all.
When you look over the career of Megan Fox, there have been many roles where the director has taken advantage of her sexuality, so it is easy to understand why fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise would be worried. On this occasion though, it looks like their concerns will not be met, as Megan Fox will not be flashing any flesh in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.
In all fairness to Megan Fox, she is actually a rather talented actress who, when given the right material, can really go on to shine. We have high hopes for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot and feel that Megan Fox is set to prove a lot of her doubters wrong. Watch this space.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles opens on August 8 in the US, before then hitting the big screen in the UK on October 17.
