With the Oscars 2015 just a few more days away, people around the world are getting very excited about the ceremony, with plenty of talk surrounding the occasion. There has been talk of who will wear what on the red carpet, talk of who will take who as there date, and talk about which stars will win what awards on the night.
For one star in particular, being nominated for an Oscar is nothing new but to win it this year would be a very big deal. Actress Meryl Streep has been nominated for an Oscar on an incredible 19 different occasions, with the Hollywood legend managing to take home an Academy Award on three separate occasions along the way.
At the 2015 Oscars, we see Meryl Streep in the running for the Best Actress in a Supporting Role category, for her role in the hit movie Into the Woods. It is a very tough category this year but, if Meryl was to win the Academy Award this year, it would move her onto four Oscar wins, which has only ever been achieved by one other actress, the wonderful Katharine Hepburn.
It is far from being a given that Meryl Streep will win the award, as the Best Actress in a Supporting Role category also includes the likes of Patricia Arquette for Boyhood, Emma Stone for Birdman, Laura Dern for Wild, and Keira Knightley for The Imitation Game.
Who do you think will win the Best Actress in a Supporting Role Oscar at this years ceremony?
The 87th Academy Awards will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday, February 22.
