When it was announced that Sylvester Stallone had agreed to reprise his role as the legendary character Rocky Balboa for the new movie Creed, there were a lot of people who felt that it was a step too far and it was best to leave the character in retirement. However, once they discovered that Rocky would actually be the trainer and not the fighter, they began to get along better with the idea.

With that said, there were still plenty of fans who questioned the need for the movie and felt that Creed would be another film to taint what was so special about the early films in the Rocky franchise. Fortunately though, the film has gone on to prove the doubters wrong and is one of the best Rocky movies of the whole bunch, bringing us everything that we would want and expect from a great Rocky movie.
In fact, Creed was so well written, that Sylvester Stallone could stroll along through the movie with ease, giving us one of the best performances of his career, earning him a nomination for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar at this years Academy Awards. So many people were impressed with what Creed managed to deliver, that there have no been calls for Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone to return for a sequel.

While it took a lot of persuading for Sylvester Stallone to return as Rocky Balboa for Creed, we are sure that if Michael B. Jordan returned and director Ryan Coogler was on board, with the team managing to put together a solid script, then we could well see a Creed sequel being made in the near future. Watch this space!
