It has been confirmed by the man himself, that Michael Bay will be returning to direct the fourth instalment of Transformers, despite previously saying that he was finished with the franchise. So, with Michael Bay confirming he will be coming back for Transformers 4, what is the likelihood of Shia LaBeouf following suite?
Bay explained, "There has been a lot of speculation about what I'm going to do next and when or if I will do another Transformers," Bay wrote. "So let me set the record straight: I have just concluded a deal with Paramount to do two movies, but it won't be two Transformers. I will first do 'Pain & Gain' with Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. Then I will do the next Transformers for release on June 29, 2014."
So what are the chances of Shia LaBeouf returning for another Transformers movie? Well he has previously suggested that he is willing to do whatever Michael Bay does, as they have become so close. However, since the Transformers franchise seems to be getting a reboot for the fourth instalment, the likelihood of Shia LaBeouf returning does look very slim.
