Over the years we have seen so many different stars, from different areas of the entertainment industry, deciding to have a go at showing what they have to offer in another area of the entertainment industry. We have seen models taking up acting, actors taking up singer and singers taking up modelling, with every other variation you could possibly think of in between.
One of the latest stars to try their hand at some thing new, is the talented Hollywood actor Michael Cera, who has decided to have a go at the music industry. Michael released his debut album True That earlier in the month and the actor turned singer has been talking about his music career, admitting that he is not too sure that it will be a permanent thing.
Cera told Billboard magazine, "I don't really know right now. Honestly, there's a terrible stigma that if you're an actor or something, and you're going to make some [polished music], it's just kind of embarrassing no matter what the result. It makes me cringe just to think about that."
He added, "Maybe that's not smart to share, but that's how it is. I kind of have that sense of that myself. I don't know. If you put something out, you're inviting people to perceive you a certain way. I don't have too much of an interest in that."
As far as his acting career is concerned, Michael Cera will lend his voice to a character in the movie Sausage Party, which also features the voices of other Hollywood stars including James Franco, Jonah Hill, Edward Norton, Kristen Wiig, Paul Rudd, Salma Hayek, Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, and Bill Hader. Sausage Party will open in June 3, 2016 in the US and June 7, 2016 in the UK.
