Michael Clarke Duncan dead aged 54

Oscar nominated actor Michael Clarke Duncan has died at the age of 54 at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Michael was there being treated for a heart attack when it was reported that the giant actor had passed away.

Recent reports claim that Michael never fully recovered after suffering a  myocardial infarction on July 13. A rep for the much loved star explained, "[Omarosa] Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date."

Michael Clarke Duncan was nominated for an Oscar following his fantastic performance as the friendly giant John Coffey in the 1999 hit movie The Green Mile. He will also be remembered for his fantastic performances in movies such as Armageddon and Sin City.

R.I.P. Michael Clarke Duncan, you were a great actor, a great man and you will be greatly missed.
