When somebody leads a very extraordinary life and manages to achieve things that many of us can only dream of, it is always going to be the case that their life gets turned into a Hollywood movie. That has definitely been the case for the late great Steve Jobs, who has had his life immortalised on the big screen on a number of occasions already in recent years.
Now it looks like we are going to see Steve Jobs life being brought to the big screen yet again, with the new movie, which is simply titled Steve Jobs, set to hit the big screen later in the year. This time around, we will see the talented Irish actor Michael Fassbender portraying the great man in a biopic about his life.
This movie adaptation of Steve Jobs life is officially described as "His passion and ingenuity have been the driving force behind the digital age. However his drive to revolutionize technology was sacrificial. Ultimately it affected his family life and possibly his health. In this revealing film we explore the trials and triumphs of a modern-day genius, Steven Paul Jobs."
As well as having Michael Fassbender starring in the lead role of Steve Jobs, the movie will also feature such top Hollywood talents as Michael Stuhlbarg, Katherine Waterston, Jeff Daniels, Sarah Snook, Seth Rogen, and Kate Winslet. Steve Jobs is directed by Danny Boyle, based on the screenplay that Aaron Sorkin developed from the Walter Isaacson book, with the movie set to open on October 9, in the US and November 13 in the UK.
