Formula One legend Michael Schumacher has been in a coma since his ski crash accident and there has been plenty of talk about how his recovery is going and if he will ever make a full recover or not. There were some recent reports which suggested that Michael is now breathing on his own, which gave hope to his family, friends and fans but these reports have been denied by his management team.
A report in the Italian newspaper Gazzetta Dell Sport claimed that Michael Schumacher had been breathing independently for a few days now, as he continues towards a full recovery. However, Michael's management team have come out to deny these claims, stating that any reports that do not come from them should be disregarded as they are invalid.
The statement read, "Michael is still in the wake up phase. The situation has not changed. Any medical information published which is not confirmed by the team of doctors treating Michael or his management has to be considered as not valid." Meanwhile, medical experts are also believed to have told the family that only a miracle will save him and that his chances of a recovery are minimal.
While the Schumacher family are still holding on to that small glimmer of hope, praying for Michael Schumacher to make a full recovery, experts have stated that, even if he does manage to come out of the coma, it is highly unlikely he will ever live a full, normal and active life. Michael Schumacher is one of the greatest Formula One drivers of all time and he will forever be remembered as a legend.
