Michelle Williams has faced a lot of tragedy in her life, so it’s good to see her so happy with her new boyfriend [and rumored fiancé] Jason Segel.

In a new interview with InStyle Magazine, Michaelle has opened up about her relationship to Jason, saying, “I didn’t actually realize who he was before I started dating him. I mean, I saw the Muppets movie, and I thought, 'Oh, that’s cute,' but the truth is I didn’t realize he made a lot of very popular, funny movies or was on a TV show."
She also adds that there were more surprises in store, saying, “I didn’t realize he was so tall. I thought, 'Hey, man, you’re cramping my style!' I tried wearing wedge heels for a while to compensate, but it wasn’t me and I just gave up."

Williams and Segel have been dating steadily since they met at the beginning of last year, and rumor has it that Michelle’s daughter, Matilda, is also very happy with Segel. He has reportedly moved in to the Brooklyn apartment that Williams shares with Matilda, and it’s only a matter of time before he proposes. They already make the most adorable family, especially in pictures, so it’s not hard to imagine Williams accepting Segel’s proposal, especially as she admits to being happier than she has been in recent times.
