Mick Jagger is considered one of the true superstars of Rock and Roll as the lead singer of the group "The Rolling Stones". He is also known as a ladies man who has has countless relationships but at the moment he is in the midst of a public relations firestorm because of his decision to start dating again, less than three months after the death of his model girlfriend L'Wren Scott who committed suicide.
He was recently photographed at his hotel in a close embrace with Melanie Hamrick, a 27 year old principal dancer for the American Ballet Theatre whom he first met two weeks before his ex-girlfriend committed suicide when some dance members were taken backstage during the Rolling Stones' Tokyo performance on March 6.
The news that he had started to date again has outraged Jan Shane, the sister of L'Wren Scott who feels that he should not be dating so soon after the death of her sister and believes that his lifestyle is part of the reason that her sister took her own life.
The Rolling Stones singer is caught in the middle in the view of some entertainment insiders as some of L'Wren Scott's siblings hold him partly responsible for her death while others such as her brother Randall Bambrough do not hold him responsible for her death and holds no animosity toward him.
Interestingly he has received much support from his friends because they feel he has been through so much pain and Melanie Hamrick has been the only one able to put a smile back on his face.
Moreover, there is a sense of bewilderment from those who knew L'Wren Scott and Mick Jagger concerning the statements of Jan Shane as she and her sister had been estranged for 10 years and thus she likely had no idea about her day to day life.
Mick Jagger, once again the center of controversy but this time some entertainment insiders wonder if anger toward him is actually warranted.
