As a young Australian, Liam Hemsworth is used to spending sun kissed days in the sunshine. However, the actor's shoulders and neck area looked a little worse for wear as he stepped out with girlfriend Miley Cyrus earlier this week.
The Hunger Games star appeared to have been suffering from slight sunburn as he went shopping at American Apparel, in Studio City, California. The 22-year-old had clearly forgotten to fully protect himself from UV rays and displayed a red chest while out with his famous girlfriend.
Despite looking a little sore, Liam looked happy to spend the afternoon with Miley, 19, shopping. He let his shoulders cool off in a yellow vest which he teamed with a pair of denim shorts and trainers, while keeping his face hidden behind a shabby beard and sunglasses.

Miley has recently been criticised for losing too much weight, but the star hit back at anorexic jibes on her Twitter page, tweeting: 'For everyone calling me anorexic, I have a gluten and lactose allergy, It's not about weight it's about health. Gluten is crapppp anyway!'
