Miley Cyrus recently gave an interview at the I Heart Radio concert backstage, and she talks about making her new album and feeling passionate about it.
She told Billboard that she ‘wants to make a sick record’.
When asked about her recent collaborations with Pharrell Williams and hip-hop production duo Da Internz, as well as the album, she said, “I've been in so many sessions and just kind of bunkering down and working really hard and perfecting everything," she said. "I've never really had time to do that, to kind of have my record kind of 'done' and then sit there and make it until it's perfect. So, it's been really, really fun. This whole year that's all I've really dedicated life to."
She also added that she was meeting labels about releasing her new music, even though she technically already has a relationship with her long-time label Hollywood Records (which may now be up in the air). She adds, “[I’m] enjoying making the record I want to make before there gets be too many people. I just want to make sure it's exactly what I want first."
Cyrus is also engaged to long-time boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, which will no doubt also happen within the next couple of years.
