It seems pretty fair to say that the new, upcoming J.J. Abrams pilot Human is almost certain to make it to a full season, due to the amount of talent that is involved in the show. J.J. and the casting team have already put together a decent ensemble and they have now added two more big names to the cast.

Minka Kelly has joined the cast
It has been confirmed that Karl Urban, who has worked with Abrams on the new Star Trek film, and Friday Night Lights actress Minka Kelly have now joined the cast of Human. Karl will play a respected police office with emotional issues, while Minka will play a uniformed cop with strong moral beliefs.
Human centres around the LAPD of the future, which sees human cops team up with highly evolved androids, which are remarkably human like. Minka Kelly and Karl Urban will join Michael Ealy, Lili Taylor, Mackenzie Crook and Michael Irby, who have already been cast.

Karl Urban is also in the pilot
While the cast of Human is reason enough to give the pilot a full season, the show also boasts a good crew behind the camera, as Brad Anderson is on board to direct the episode, with J.H. Wyman on board as executive producer, along with J.J. Abrams.
