They say that when you get rich and famous you soon find out who your real friends are, as a lot of them will try to cash in by selling their stories about you. Sometimes you might even find that family members will betray you and give in to the temptation of talking about you for a magazine or television show.
That is exactly what has happened to Australian model Miranda Kerr, whose family recently appeared on television to talk about her. The Kerr family expressed their disappointment at the fact that they have not seen Miranda or her son Flynn in over a year and barely even hear from her. This has led to a bit of backlash for Miranda but she has found support from fellow Australian beauty Sophie Monk.
Sophie used her radio show to support Kerr, saying, "I find it disgusting. Disgusting. Not on Miranda, her family. Why are they coming out and publicly speaking? She’s the star, we don’t need to know about it, it’s not solving anything by offloading and putting her down. Go to her and sort it out. You should stay loyal to your family."
Miranda Kerr has enjoyed a huge rise to global superstardom, since leaving Australia for America at the age of 25 and is the second highest paid supermodel in the world. They say money can't buy you happiness and, in the case of Miranda Kerr, this looks to be a fairly accurate statement.
