Moran Atias is earning much praise for her impressive acting performance as the star of the FX television series "Tyrant" and for much of 2014 that has been what her fans and entertainment observers have been talking about.
However, the beautiful Israeli actress is now in the media spotlight for her being chosen to be a jury member at the 2014 Venice Film Festival which runs from August 27 to September 6. For this movie lover it is a great honour and will give her fans multiple opportunities to see her walk the red carpet while she gets to enjoy her passion which which as she revealed on her Instagram account is the making of movies and telling the stories.
Some fans and entertainment observers think that one of the reasons she was chosen to be one of the jury members was the reputation she has developed as an actress who becomes fully engrossed in a part and will take great measures to prepare for a part as she demonstrated in Paul Haggis' 2013 movie "Third Person".
In a story that makes one 'pause' just thinking about it she revealed that to prepare for her role as a Romanian gypsy in "Third Person" she went 4 months without showering. That knowledge prompted many a fan on social media and some entertainment observers to admit that this is a woman who must love acting to be willing to go to that extent to prepare for a role.
She is currently heating up the television screens with her role as the strong and beautiful Leila on her hit show "Tyrant" which follows the life of the youngest son of a dictator who returns to his war-torn country in the Middle East with his American family. The gorgeous actress plays the dictator's wife who is ruthless and glamorous or as a past interview in W magazine noted, "a glamorous, deadly combo of Leila Trabelsi (the former first lady of Tunisia) and Hilary Clinton.
Moran Atias' impressive year continues with the well deserved honour of being part of the jury at the 2014 Venice Film Festival.
