Morgan Freeman talks The Dark Knight Rises

Hollywood legend Morgan Freeman has discussed a few of the most exciting things that he likes about the Christopher Nolan Batman movies, stating that the director is one of the best in the business. Morgan also revealed that he has some good scenes in The Dark Knight Rises and exactly who he would have liked to have seen as a Batman Villain.

Freeman explained, “The most exciting thing about it is watching the openings, I’m telling you. Doing it, it’s fun to work with Chris Nolan. He’s really a terrific writer, a terrific director. One of those highlights of your career.” When asked if we could expect to see anything exciting from his character Lucius Fox responded in a positive manner.
 
He added, “Oh, yeah – really good stuff.” Morgan also revealed who he would have liked to have seen playing which Batman villain, “Phillip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin, that sounds interesting to me.” Information regarding Talia al Ghul in The Dark Knight Rises was recently revealed. You can see Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox in The Dark Knight Rises, which is set to be released on July 20, 2012.
