N-Dubz singer Dappy has revealed how he was devastated to learn that The X Factor executives did not want him on the show. Dappy wanted to assist his N-Dubz bandmate Tulisa Contostavlos at the judges houses stage of the show but was told that bandmates were not allowed. However, Gary Barlow had his fellow Take That singer Robbie Williams at his house to help him decide his final four.
Dappy explained, “They said I wasn’t allowed on it because you weren’t allowed band mates on it but then Gary had Robbie at his house and that just broke me in two. They probably thought I was gonna start elbow dropping desks or something but I just wanted to give Tulisa some advice.”
He added, “It honest devastated me when I knew that me and Fazer were not allowed on there. I would have loved to have been on it.” It has recently been claimed that N-Dubz are set to split up as Dappy pursues his solo career. However Dappy said that they are just “on a two year break”. The X Factor airs on ITV1 every Saturday.
