It was revealed yesterday that Nadine Coyle was overheard criticising Girls Aloud band mate Cheryl Cole, while on a night out in New York. However, Nadine has since come out and denied that she ever said such things and that she still has the utmost respect for her old friend.
Nadine took to Twitter to say, "Not true. Stop using me as the scape goat for lack of stories." Cheryl’s PR company made it quite clear that they did not believe the rumours anyway, "Well now Cheryl has no friends that should mean no more stories from 'pals' in press," they said, also over Twitter.
Nadine Coyle and Cheryl Cole are set to return to Girls Aloud for a 2012 reunion tour, which looked like collapsing when the rumour hit. However, now that it has been made clear that Nadine did not say any such thing, the tour looks dead set to go ahead.
