Australian actress Naomi Watts is one of the most sought after stars in Hollywood and, with her good looks and acting talent, it is easy to see why. Naomi covers the November issue of Allure Magazine and, inside the publication, Naomi opens up about her relationship with Liev Schreiber, revealing how the two of them got together.
Watts explained, "It was a lot more ballsy than I would ever normally be. He got up to say he was leaving, and I was like, ‘Oh, sh-t.’ So I said something cheeky. ‘Don’t you want my digits?’ It made him laugh. He texted me saying, ‘Would you like to go for a drink right now?’ And I said, ‘No, I’ll meet you for breakfast tomorrow.’”
She then spoke about Liev starring in her movie The Painted Veil, adding, “I didn’t get him the role. Of course he got it for himself. He turned it down to begin with, and then I talked him into it…. I really had to push him because I wanted to see him."
The Painted Veil was released way back in 2006 and Naomi Watts was a producer on the film, as well as starring in it with Liev Schreiber. The film went on to win the Golden Globe for Best Original Score by Alexandre Desplat.
