More Magazine obtained an exclusive interview with Naomi Watts where she talked openly about her “beautiful relationship” with Heath Ledger which lasted from 2002 until 2004.
Naomi Watts, since the death of Heath Ledger in January 2008 has rarely talked about her relationship with Heath Ledger, and when she has, she has always said what a great guy and how caring he was. With the More Magazine interview she extended on some of her previous comments over the years in saying "He was a man who was completely full of joy, and there was a lot of laughing and affection." She then went onto say how bad she feels for his daughter having missed out on knowing her father saying "He was really a very special soul and made a great impact on my life -- and a great actor, but I know there was so much more to come. And it's a tragedy for his little daughter."
With Clint Eastwoods, J. Edgar movie, due to be released soon, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Naomi Watts, the interview was part of a promotional run attached to the movie. Naomi spoke in fair depth about her relationship with Nicole Kidman saying "We've seen each other go through a lot, and we've both consistently been there for each other. She's been a great friend and an inspiration."
