Hollywood actress Naomi Watts should be celebrating today, after it was confirmed that she has been nominated for Best Performance By An Actress In A Motion Picture (Drama) by the Golden Globes for her performance in The Impossible. However, Naomi has revealed how she will have to keep the celebrations on hold, as today is also her son’s birthday.

Naomi Watts
Watts told USA Today, “It's my son's birthday today. He's upset that I made that sound. I had to explain what it was. Mommy got good news. And he said, 'It's my birthday...' We're having cake after school. It's all about Kai today. I won't get to celebrate until this weekend.”
Naomi also spoke to ABC News adding, “It's always nice that your peers will recognise you but it makes me go all sweaty and clammy and get nervous. With Muholland Drive, everyone was so sure (I would win big at the Oscars) and... it didn't happen and you feel lost.”

The Impossible scene
Naomi Watts stars alongside Ewan McGregor in The Impossible, which is set to be released in the US later this month, before then being released in the UK on January 1, 2013. For now though, cast your eyes over the trailer for The Impossible.
