Naomie Harris is set to appear in the new James Bond movie Skyfall later this month (in the UK, next month in the US) and promotion for the movie is currently in full swing. Naomie has been doing the rounds and has revealed how she prepared for her role in the movie.

Harris explained, “It was hard work because I'm incredibly unfit. When we started I couldn't run around the block. Now I can do two-and-a-half K (kilometres) - and that, for me, is amazing. I feel a lot more energised now. I was three days a week at the gun range.”
She added, “When I had to shoot Bond, I thought I'd never live it down. I was really not happy about that bit! But I was really excited to be working with guns because I've never worked with them before and I discovered I have a real taste for guns.”

Naomie continued, “I'm such a pacifist but I really enjoyed it. You have to be incredibly precise. When you're dealing with live ammunition, even though you're firing blanks you can still take someone's eye out.”
You can see Naomie Harris starring alongside Daniel Craig, in his third outing as James Bond, when Skyfall is released in the UK on October 26 and then in the US on November 9.
