English actress Natalie Dormer has enjoyed a successful acting career to date and has landed some very exciting roles in some very enjoyable projects over the past few years and she is not finished yet. Natalie Dormer plays the role of Margaery in the hit HBO fantasy drama series Game of Thrones, while she will also appear in the role of Cressida in the upcoming movie The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1.
In Game of Thrones, Margaery is looking to seduce the king Tommen and persuade him to marry her but if she was successful she would have to prove that she is still a virgin. While there has been suggestions that Margaery has had sex in the past, Natalie insists that this is not necessarily the case.
Dormer explained, "My Interpretation is that nothing ever happened. I think she tried to get Renly into bed, and offered a threesome or whatever to get him moving, but nothing ever happened. It wasn't consummated in any capacity, at all."
Meanwhile, Natalie Dormer has been showing off her new hair style, with one side of her head shaved, which she had done for her role in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1. Natalie says that she found it difficult to come to terms with at first but has managed to accept that it will eventually grow back.
Dormer added, "It's fascinating how much of our sense of attractiveness and feminine identity is bound up in our hair. But in the Mockingjay novel, Cressida is described as having a shaved head with a vine tattoo, and I wanted to do right by the book. But you take a deep breath and keep everything in perspective. It just takes time getting used to. Cutting one side of your head for a few months is not a big deal compared with what other people have to deal with in the world. Plus, hair grows back."
You can see Natalie Dormer in her role as Margaery in Game of Thrones, which airs on HBO on Sunday evenings in the US and on Sky Atlantic on Monday evenings in the UK. Then we will finally get to see Natalie Dormer as Cressida in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, when the movie hits the big screen on November 21 in both the US and the UK.
