The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to grow and grow, with a number of new characters being brought our way every year. However, while we look forward to seeing new characters, we are equally as excited to see more from the characters we have already been introduced to.
One such character is Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth, and we are eagerly anticipating the released of Thor: The Dark World, which hits screens later in the year. While Thor: The Dark World has yet to even be released, talk has already turned to the future of the franchise.
Anthony Hopkins, who plays Odin in the Thor movies, has admitted that he would love there to be more Thor films in the future. Meanwhile, Natalie Portman, who plays Jane, says that she thinks Thor 3 will happen, telling E! Online, "Yeah, well I think they are going to make a Thor 3, so I think Anthony will be pleased."
As well as Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins and Natalie Portman, Thor: The Dark World also stars Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston and Christopher Eccleston, to name just a few. Thor: The Dark World opens on October 30 in the UK, before hitting the US on November 8.
