When most people think of the striking beauty of Natasha Henstridge their first thoughts are not of her playing a role a mother seaching through the wilderness to find her children but she plays that role very well in her recently released movie "Against the Wild". Natasha Henstridge is usually the woman who is the object of someone's affection and that is not a stretch because she looks like a goddess whom most men would do almost anything to impress but she is without question an actress who possesses underrated but impressive acting range.
Natasha Henstridge in a recent interview about "Against the Wild" talks about how difficult it is for a mother to handle things when they find out that their children are in danger and they are not with them and thus are unable to protect them. As an actress she found it difficult to prepare for the role and imagine how she would act in this situation because not only had she never been in such a position but the thought of her children being in danger was difficult to accept and as a mother her emotiions and actions were ranged from fear all the way to the need to take immediate action.
Her role as Susan Wade, mother of two children who feels guilty when she learns her children are in danger and she is not there to protect them, was great for Natasha Henstridge because it forced her to display her dramatic acting range and show herself in a vulnerable state which is not a role that Natasha Henstridge is generally seen in.
"Against the Wild" will be available on DVD and Digital Download and Natasha Henstridge's presence in the film makes it a great feel good movie for the family and demonstrates her impressive ability to convey both emotional strength and weakness which will serve her well in her future Hollywood projects.
