Over the years, we have seen many television shows getting dragged out for far too long, with the writers losing the way and the show losing that magic which made them great in the early seasons. How I Met Your Mother ran for far too many seasons, while Two and a Half Men has been poor for the past few seasons now.
Fortunately though, there are some television shows which know when the time is right to call it a day and one of them is the hit FOX musical series Glee, which will call time after its sixth season. Glee was not particular good last season, so the time has come for the cast, crew and fans to say farewell to the series.
One cast member who is not looking forward to saying farewell to Glee, is the actress Naya Rivera, who plays the role of Santana Lopez in the hit series. Naya has played the role of Santana since 2009, appearing in 111 episodes of the show, so it is no surprise that she is finding it so hard to say goodbye to Glee.
Rivera recently took to her official Twitter account, to let her fans and followers know just how excited she was for the sixth season of Glee, "On set today… can’t wait for you all to see Season 6! #Glee," she tweeted. However, while Naya Rivera is excited for the fans to see season six of Glee, Naya is also sad that she will be saying farewell to her show.
Rivera recently explained, "I’m sure it’s going to get crazy [emotional] at the end. Because outside of high school, we never have a marker of time to see how people grow, so it’s just been very warm and fuzzy. Every single one of the cast is like a member of my family."
Glee season six will premiere on FOX in 2015.
