If there is such a thing as a renaissance woman, Pauley Perrette would be in the ranks. Not only is she an amazing actress, but she is also a singer/songwriter, author, and co-owner of a bakery. She is similar in many ways to Abby Sciuto, the character she plays on NCIS. One of the most notable similarities is her big heart.
Pauley has stepped forward to buy a wheelchair for Arthur Renowitzky, whose wheelchair was destroyed in a freak accident with a charter bus. Renowitzky, or AR as he is known, is an accomplished hip-hop artist who dedicates his lyrics to the dangers of gun violence. He is also the director and founder of the Life Goes On Foundation, which he founded in 2007 when he was shot and paralyzed.
AR has this to say about Perrette, “I cannot thank Pauley enough. She’s the coolest, super inspiring, and has a huge heart. Bless her.”
Just as Abby loves to work with her tunes going in the lab, Pauley also has a musical bent. In addition to once being in a band, she also directed a video of “Fear”, a song she wrote in hopes of helping others who are feeling scared. You can hear her song, “Somebody Saved You” on the NCIS: Benchmark (Official TV Soundtrack). Listener’s rave that her song, along with Michael Weatherly’s, are worth the purchase.
