American actor Nestor Carbonell is well known for his role as Luis Rivera in the television sitcom Suddenly Susan (1996-2000); and six episodes of Resurrection Blvd. (2000) as Peter Terrano. Nestor has done very well in playing these recurring character roles and is brilliant as a supporting actor.
You may also remember Nestor Carbonellas Batmanuel in The Tick (2001-3); as Senior Senior Jr. in Kim Possible (2002-2007); Tim Montero in Century City (2004) and as Jonas Ray in Strong Medicine (2004-6). Nestor has had a penchant for landing recurring roles in television series, and in addition he appeared in Cold Case (2006) and Cane (2007). Nestor's longest running recurring television series role has been in Lost (2007-10) in 36 episodes, followed by 22 episodes as Victor Machado in Ringer (2011-12). His longevity has been nothing short of amazing.
Although he has been quite successful in his TV series roles, Nestor Carbonell has also appeared in films such as Noriega: God's Favorite (2000); Manhood (2003); The Lost City (2005); The Dark Knight (2008) and The Dark Knight Rises (2012), for a brief reprise of his role as Mayor Anthony Garcia.
Nestor's most recent work has been portraying the character of Sheriff Romero in the television series The Bates Motel (2013). So far, he has appeared in six episodes of this popular series. His latest film is Dead Drop (2013). Nestor Carbonell is still popular and still in demand. His ability to provide support is an asset to any series or film that is fortunate to have him on board.
