‘The Host’ is one of the most anticipated films of 2013 for fans of Stephenie Meyer, Andrew Niccol, or Saoirse Ronan. The film is based on Meyer’s adult science fiction novel of the same name, and is directed by Andrew Niccol [of Gattacta and Truman Show fame] and stars Saoirse Ronan [Hanna, Atonement], Max irons [Red Riding Hood, and the recent INC Campaign], and Jake Abel [Percy Jackson, Supernatural].

While a host of pictures [see what we did there?] from the film have been released recently, the actors’ twitter accounts have been also been filled with a ton of behind-the-scenes photos from the set. The first picture shows Saoirse Ronan with Frances Fisher, who plays her human character’s aunt in the film. The second shows Fisher again, this time with Jake Abel [who plays Ian O’Shea], and Lee Hardee [who plays Aaron] in the desert. The third picture shows Shawn Carter Peterson [who plays Wes], Raeden Greer [who plays Lily], Max Irons [who plays Jared Howe], and Fisher.
More pictures can be seen on the actors’ Twitter accounts, with the majority coming from Frances Fisher’s twitter account and Jake Abel’s twitter account.
