There has been a steady flow of behind-the-scenes photos from the ‘Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ set ever since the cast began filming in Hawaii. Whether this is due to easier access for photographers or laxer security, we don’t know, but it’s definitely a good thing for Hunger Games fans who are excited to know more about how the shoot is going.

Filming in Hawaii, which consists mainly of all the arena scenes in the second half of ‘Catching Fire’, began a couple weeks ago and is set to end in the last week of December. The cast has reportedly been working 16 hour days, 6 days a week to finish shooting in time. No doubt, it will pay off when the film goes into post-production, but for now, we have some new photos from the set.
The header photo shows Jena Malone [Johanna Mason], Jennifer Lawrence [Katniss Everdeen], and Josh Hutcherson [Peeta Mellark]. The second photo shows Josh Hutcherson posing with Jennifer Lawrence’s young nephew [awwwwwwww], and the third photo shows Josh with a fake head wound. The first round of pictures from the set were released a couple of weeks ago [and can be viewed here].
