HBO is continuing to ramp up its promotion for the upcoming third season of the hit HBO show 'Game of Thrones'. Posters have been plastered all over Los Angeles, including buses and billboards, and trailers have been featured in major websites on line. Now, just weeks after the debut of the first trailer for Season 3, a second trailer releases. This one is called 'War Preview', and takes a look at all the carnage and destruction that is about to rained down in the upcoming episodes.

A still from the third season of Game of Thrones
The third season, as fans of the novel know, will be the most heartbreaking and brutal one yet, with beloved characters meeting their end and cliffhangers being thrown at the end of each episode instead of just the finale. The book that this season is based on, 'A Storm of Swords' is often a fan favorite if only for the sheer amount of shock and spectacle that it contains.
This trailer shows us a lot of new images and short clips, although we are offered a glimpse of Emilia Clarke's Dany in disguise, saying, "A man who fights for gold can't afford to lose to a girl." A portend of what's to come, perhaps?

Things have certainly changed a lot since Season 1
