The true story of the notorious contract killer Richard Kuklinski is set to be played out in a big screen Hollywood adaptation called The Iceman. The movie has a fairly impressive cast, which includes the likes of Michael Shannon, Winona Ryder and Chris Evans. Now, a brand new trailer for The Iceman has been released.

The synopsis for The Iceman is as follows:
Inspired by actual events, "The Iceman" follows notorious contract killer Richard Kuklinski (Academy Award® nominee Michael Shannon) from his early days in the mob until his arrest for the murder of more than 100 men. Appearing to be living the American dream as a devoted husband and father; in reality Kuklinski was a ruthless killer-for-hire. When finally arrested in 1986, neither his wife nor daughters have any clue about his real profession.

As well as Michael Shannon, Winona Ryder and Chris Evans, The Iceman also stars Ray Liotta, David Schwimmer, Robert Davi, Danny Abeckaser, Stephen Dorff and James Franco. The Iceman is directed by Ariel Vroman, based on a screenplay he wrote with Morgan Land, and is set to be released on May 3 in the US and on June 7 in the UK.
