Gore Verbinski has been known to spend a lot of movie on a lot of his movies and it appears that he is not holding back with his adaptation of The Lone Ranger. It is believed that the budget for The Lone Ranger has far exceeded its $215m and is even believed to have gone past $250m.

However, Gore seems very optimistic about The Lone Ranger and has even been speaking quite openly about the movie. Verbinski explained, “It’s two guys who start literally and figuratively handcuffed together who end up on the same mission with completely different world views. They sort of rub off on one another. But they have plenty of disagreements.”

He added, “[Tonto] is an odd-shaman, an outcast from his own tribe, who has created his own mystical world. “[His bird headpiece] is his companion. It’s a stuffed bird that he feeds birdfeed.”

The Lone Ranger stars Armie Hammer, Johnny Depp, Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson, and Helena Bonham Carter and is set to be released on July 3, 2013 in the US and August 9, 2013 in the UK but for now, check out the pictures of The Lone Ranger.
