There has been a lot of talk recently about the relationship between One Direction singer Niall Horan and The X Factor USA judge Demi Lovato. However, it appears that 19 year old Niall has given up on Demi and has instead turned his attention 31 year old Irish presenter Glenda Gilson.
An insider explained to Heat, “He has the hots for her. He’d been having a few drinks with the band and, as the drinks flowed, he seemed increasingly determined to get Glenda out with him and his friends, but she was fast asleep.”
While Niall also told the magazine, “Yes, I had been trying to get hold of Glenda during the night, but she couldn’t come out in the end. It’s fine though – we’re good friends. We have a great craic together.”
Glenda also discussed the potential romance, saying, “He’d been wanting me to go out but I didn’t as I don’t want to be the new Caroline Flack and be hated by every woman in the world. I refused that one.”
If that was not enough to break Niall’s heart, it also appears that Glenda is spoken for, as she is dating Rob McNaughton. We cannot work out what is wrong with Niall Horan but every time he declares interest in a woman, they just want to be friends with him. Awww!
