When it comes to the entertainment industry, it is not uncommon for children to follow in their parents footsteps and go down the same path into the entertainment business. Over the years we have seen a whole host of children follow their parents into the entertainment industry, while there are some parents who try to discourage it.
America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon has two beautiful children with legendary singer Mariah Carey but he has insisted that he does not want them to follow Mariah or himself in the entertainment business. Both Nick and Mariah share plenty of pictures of their three-year old twins Moroccan and Monroe, as Nick admits that he is aware they already have a fan base.
Cannon was speaking with E! News, when he explained, "I actually don't want them to be in the business, but I understand that people have fallen in love with them and [they have] fans and stuff."
As well as sharing plenty of pictures and the occasional video of Monroe and Moroccan, Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are also preparing to release a children's book called Roc and Roe's 12 Days of Christmas. Nick says that he is very excited to see his children being brought to life as the main characters of the book.
Cannon added, "They're like the new Raggedy Ann and Andy, the adventures of Roc 'n' Roe,' to see my kids come to life in a story book and all this other stuff."
As Monroe and Moroccan begin to get older, it will be interesting to see whether they listen to what Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have to say or if they do actually decide to make the move into the entertainment industry.
