Former X Factor wannabe Olly Murs has been the co-host of the spinoff show Xtra Factor, along with Caroline Flack, but he has hinted that he may well need to leave the show. Olly is hoping to make a name for himself over in the US, which will not leave him time do the show.
There have been a number of names linked to the role, despite the fact that no definite decision has been made on the future of Olly Murs. It was previously claimed that last seasons X Factor villain Rylan Clarke could be in line to replace Olly but now a new name has arisen.
There have been claims that Radio One DJ Nick Grimshaw is in place to take over from Olly Murs, should he decide to walk away from the show. Nick is already good friends with Caroline Flack, with the couple regularly being seen together, so there would be instant chemistry there.
However, until a final decision has been made on the future of Olly Murs, there will be no word of any replacement coming on board. It does seem almost guaranteed that Olly will quit to focus on his music career but we will just have to wait and see.
