There are a lot of stars from other areas of the entertainment industry trying their hand at acting these days, with plenty of models and singers trying to make a name for themselves on the acting scene. One such singer who has decided to have a go at an acting career, is the Pink Print rapper Nicki Minaj, who appears in the movie The Other Woman.

Nicki Minaj only has a small role in The Other Woman but it looks like she had a great time on the set of the movie and has well and truly caught the acting bug. Nicki has now admitted that she wants to play some bigger and more important roles in the future and will attend more auditions for movies in the coming years.
Minaj was talking to MTV News about her role in The Other Woman, when she explained, "It gave me an idea as to what the world would be like being on a set and being on a trailer for hours. And now that I know it's something I can do, I think I want to expand a role eventually."

Nicki then went on to talk about her future in acting, adding, "I am going on auditions, and I'm trying to find the right role with the right director and the right writers. I want to be part of something from the beginning stage this time, and I want the role to be custom-made for me."
Nicki Minaj plays the role of Lydia in The Other Woman, which stars Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton in the lead roles. The Other Woman is out now in both the US and the UK, check out the trailer below.
