It’s rare that Nicole Kidman opens up in interviews about her previous relationship with Tom Cruise, as she usually keeps that part of her life pretty close to the chest. However, in a new interview with DuJour magazine [via US Weekly], Kidman talks about her relationship with Cruise and how ‘passionate’ it was.

She says, “I was totally smitten–I fell madly, passionately in love… I would have gone to the ends of the earth for him. I was reeling with Tom. I would have gone to the ends of the earth for him.”
She adds that once they were married, “I was so impulsive and naïve… We were in a bubble . . .just the two of us. We became very dependent on one another.” She also says that once they split, she “didn’t want to be alone. I wanted to fall in love again, but I wasn’t sure I could.”

She does indeed also talk about her relationship with Keith Urban, saying, “My life changed. He is a wonderful, caring man and he makes me feel secure. We don’t ever like to be separated. We have a wonderful home life. There’s always music. Keith plays the guitar and piano and drums. He’s always composing music. It’s lovely when you have a baby who picks up the drumsticks and plays, wearing angel wings.”
