Singer and X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger has admitted that she is confident of winning The X Factor 2013, as she feels that she has easily the strongest category. Nicole won last year, when she mentored James Arthur, with Jahmene Douglas coming second and she said that the boys are backing this years girls all the way.
Scherzinger told MTV, "I have the strongest category I feel. I've got the best right here, so I'm coming in with some good contenders. All of the Scherzy boys are supporting my Scherzy girls, they've all told me. I am a girl, I've gone through a similar audition process before, I'm a popstar, so I know some of the fears that go along with it."
She also spoke to Digital Spy about this years twist, "It was so hardcore. It was brutal. It made for great telly [though], I'm not going to lie. We were there and I was sweating. This was like the lion's den, we were throwing them out there to the wolves. But the reality of it is whether you guys see it on TV or not, those are the decisions we have to make. So you just get to see what goes on."
The X Factor continues on ITV1 this Saturday night, with the first of the live shows, which is expected to have an 80s theme. While Nicole Scherzinger has the girls, Gary Barlow has the groups, Louis Walsh has the boys and Sharon Osbourne has the overs.
