Nicole Scherzinger recently appeared in a televised interview last Sunday to talk about her struggles with her body image and how her boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton, helped her overcome those problems.

She says, “Being in our relationship gave me the courage to kind of end that disorder and that disease. He made me feel beautiful for who I am and not what pant size I'm wearing and that helped a lot.” She also adds that she only really learned how to accept her body after years of bulimia, saying, “A little light came on in the back of my head and that's when I started to try and turn this around. I said wow, I've got to learn how to accept myself and my body. I started to embrace myself as a woman and my curves."
Scherzinger only recently opened up about her struggle with bulimia - "I've never spoke about it. It's embarrassing... I did it every day for, like, years," she told VH1's Behind The Music. "I hated myself. I really was so disgusted with myself. I guess it was like my addiction, right? I never did drugs, but kinda doing things to myself was my addiction. It's like when I got off stage, I was on this high, and I'd come back to my room and I'd be alone, so I would just do things. My bulimia was my addiction; hurting myself was my addiction."
Hamilton also appeared on VH1’s ‘Behind the Music’ and said of their relationship, “We are both passionate. Together we've created a great bond.”
