American singer and former X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger is one of the most beautiful women on the face of the Earth but, while she has always seemed very happy and healthy, that has not always been the case. Nicole previously touched on her eating disorder and she has now gone into further detail about her bulimia.
Nicole Scherzinger was enjoying huge success with the Pussycat Dolls but that success was putting enormous amounts of pressure on her and she fell victim to an eating disorder. Nicole has revealed how she would often pass out in bathrooms and even came very close to losing her beautiful singing voice due to her bulimia.
Scherzinger told Britain's Cosmopolitan magazine, "I had such a great life on the outside, the Dolls were on top of the world, but I was miserable on the inside. It is such a horrible, paralysing disease and it was such a dark time for me. I didn't think anyone knew in my group or in my family because I hid it that well, I was so ashamed. I knew it wasn't normal or healthy because I was hurting myself through this cycle of disordered eating."
She added, "I had started losing my voice, I couldn't sing at shows, and then I remember my manager finding me passed out on the floor in Malta or in the south of France. I thought, 'I'm going to lose everything I love if I don't love myself'... I'm never letting that happen again; you only get one life."
As far as her career goes, Nicole Scherzinger quit her role as a judge on The X Factor as she wants to focus her efforts on her own music career.
