Singer and X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger has revealed how she turned down the chance to record the track We Found Love, before it became a huge hit for Rihanna. Nicole says she was sent a demo of the track but wanted to get away from dance music, as she felt that there was too much of it about at the time.
Scherzinger told Notion Magazine, "I passed on We Found Love. I've got the demo of that song and I was busy at the time. They'd sent me a few dance tracks and I wasn't able to get to them and I was like, 'Oh there's so much dance and I want to take a break from it.' That was my fault. I slept on it."
Nicole Scherzinger must surely be regretting the decision now, as We Found Love has become one of the biggest tracks of Rihanna's career, spending a number of weeks at the top of the charts in countries all over the World.
Good decision-making is a vital part of any celebrities life and, while Nicole Scherzinger will have to put that bad decision behind her, she has a new decision to make. It is believed that producers want to see Nicole Scherzinger back for another season of The X Factor, while the singer has yet to commit to the show.
