It has been reported that Nicole Scherzinger is set to follow her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton into the sport that he lives and breathes. It is claimed that Nicole has been signed up by McLaren as part of their apprenticeship program, which will see her start off in one of the other Formula’s first.
Nicole Scherzinger has been receiving lessons from Lewis Hamilton since they first started dating up until they split up and now that they are back together, Lewis has persuaded Nicole to take the step and become the first ever female Formula 1 driver.
Lewis had a word with the top dogs at McLaren and convinced them to give her a test run before the start of the current season and they have been so impressed that they have decided to take a gamble on her. It is believed that Nicole will start out in GP2 to prove she has what it takes.
If Scherzinger manages to impress at GP2 level, she will then be given a drive in one of the lesser Formula 1 teams, to prove she can handle herself with the big boys. McLaren are extremely excited about the prospect of having the first ever female Formula 1 world champion, as are Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton.
