There were a lot of devastated fans recently, when it was confirmed that actress Nina Dobrev was saying farewell to the hit The CW television series The Vampire Diaries, quitting the show to focus on other projects. It is a big step for Nina, who has become a household name around the world, appearing in 133 episodes of The Vampire Diaries between 2009 and 2015.
With Nina Dobrev deciding to quit The Vampire Diaries, it leaves her with a lot more time on her hands and we could see the actress making an assault on the movie industry. During her time on The Vampire Diaries, we have seen Nina appearing in a few films, including the likes of The Room Mate, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and Let's Be Cops, but now she has time to focus on many more movie projects.
We will actually get to see Nina Dobrev on the big screen again very soon, with the actress appearing in the new comedy horror movie The Final Girls. Nina will appear alongside an impressive cast including Adam DeVine, Alexander Ludwig, Thomas Middleditch, Malin Akerman, Taissa Farmiga, and Alia Shawkat, with the movie expected to the the film festival route this year.
We have no doubt that Nina Dobrev will get a lot of scripts sent her way and will get a lot of interesting and exciting movie offers in the coming years.
